The Stony Point PD saved a life after midnight Monday night/Tuesday morning.

On September 29 at approximately 12:58 a.m. SPPD officers responded to room #53 of the Stony Point Motel for a call reporting an unresponsive 28-year-old female.

Officers determined that the victim had apparently overdosed on heroin and administered one dose of the overdose antidote naloxone.

The female victim became responsive and was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital. The Stony Point Police Department was assisted by Rockland Paramedics and the Haverstraw Ambulance Corp.
