IMG_0321  IMG_0320VALLEY COTTAGE – Clarkstown Police pulled in a big haul on Tuesday morning when they discovered an industrial scale marijuana grow in a Valley Cottage house.

The Thomas Court house, which was unoccupied at the time, was searched at about 5 a.m. with the aid of a search warrant. Police subsequently found 200 plants and over 30 five-gallon buckets filled with marijuana seeds.

The search was conducted by 10 police and detectives with assistance from the New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team and Special Operations Response Team. Hazmat suits and respiratory gear were used during the removal due to the large amount of plants in the home.

Nobody was home at the time of the pre-dawn raid and no suspects have been arrested. An investigation is ongoing at the location of the grow.
