STONY POINT POLICE DEPARTMENT:
MENACING, CRIMINAL CONTEMPT & HARASSMENT
Randall Gooler, age 57, residing at 95 Grassy Point Road, Stony Point, NY, was arrested on June 10, 2015 for menacing in the third degree, criminal contempt in the first degree, criminal contempt in the second degree and harassment in the second degree. The defendant was arrested following an investigation into a domestic dispute. It is alleged the defendant threatened a family member with a shotgun after a verbal dispute and at the time of said dispute there was in effect a duly served criminal court Order of Protection prohibiting such actions. The defendant was arrested, processed, arraigned and remanded to the Rockland County Correctional Facility. The defendant is due back in the Stony Point Justice Court on June 15, 2015 at 10 a.m.
ROCKLAND COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE POLICE DIVISION:
Calvin Parker, age 41, residing in Nyack, NY, was arrested on June 5, 2015 for DWI in the second offense and operating a vehicle without a required interlock device. A Sheriff Patrol Officer observed the subject operating a motor vehicle on Rt. 9W in an erratic manner. The subject was found to be intoxicated and arrested. The subject was processed at Sheriff HQ in New City, charged as a felony due to a prior DWI conviction then arraigned at the Clarkstown Justice Court. The subject was remanded to the Rockland County Jail without bail.
DWI & UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA
Martin Sagman, age 51, residing in New City, NY, was arrested on June 14, 2015 for DWI, operation of a vehicle while impaired by drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana. A Sheriff Patrol Officer observed the subject operating a motor vehicle on Congers Rd. in an erratic manner. The subject was found to be impaired by drugs, and in possession of marijuana. The subject was then arrested and processed at Sheriff HQ in New City and released on summonses to return to Clarkstown Justice Court.
Omar Medina-Sandoval, age 17, of Spring Valley, NY, was arrested on for assault in the second degree with intent to cause physical injury with weapon. The subject was arrested by detectives of the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office on an outstanding violation of probation warrant for the aforementioned felony charge issued on May 15, 2015 by Rockland County Court Judge William Kelly.
Stephen Colavito, age 63, residing in Nanuet, NY, was arrested on June 12, 2015 for DWI. A Sheriff Patrol Officer observed the above subject operating a motor vehicle on First Street with equipment violations. The subject was found to be intoxicated and arrested. The subject was processed at Sheriff HQ in New City and arraigned at Clarkstown Justice Court. The subject then was released without bail.
