Paul Piperato to be roasted June 6 at Platzl Brauhaus

County Clerk Paul Piperato is due to be roasted by local dignitaries next weekend at Platzl Brauhaus in a benefit for Leo Laders American Legion Post 130.

Last year Haverstraw Supervisor Howard Phillips endured some abuse for a good cause and this year it’s his fellow Haverstraw native Piperato’s turn. Roasters include Haverstraw Town Justice John K. Grant, Veteran’s Director Jerry Donnellan, Rockland County Sheriff Louis Falco, III, Rockland County DA Tom Zugibe and North Rockland High School Athletic Director Joe Casarella.

Cocktail hour is at 7 p.m. and dinner at 8 p.m. Tickets are $85 per person; $800 for a table of 10.
