Looking Back in Time – Haverstraw

The Haverstraw Brick Museum invites you to join us, Saturday, May 2, when Mrs. Corinne McGeorge, long-time Haverstraw resident, shares with you pictures of old-time Haverstraw. She will be taking us on a journey back in time to the days of Myers’ Supermarket, Mardoff’s Bakery, The Waldron Movie Theater, and many more.

“Stop at the Red Apple” The Restaurant on Route 17

Haverstraw Brick Museum invites you to take a stroll done memory lane, when author Elaine Freed Lindenblatt takes us back to the Red Apple Rest, her family’s famous restaurant on Route 17 and talks about her book, “Stop at the Red Apple.” Books available for sale and signing.

The mission of the Haverstraw Brick Museum is to collect, preserve, research and exhibit materials and cultures of the brick making industry within the Hudson River Valley.

All programs are held at the Museum.
