Workshop to Teach Students How to Build Website for Free on Wednesday, April 29, 2015

PRESS RELEASE

A free workshop is open to the public to learn how to build a website by using the popular blogging system, WordPress. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, April 29 by Rockland Web Design, at Cuppa Pulp / CILK119 in Nanuet.

WordPress is a system that allows individuals the ability to create very simple, or very elaborate websites. For over five years, Rockland Web Design has been building sites for profit using the WordPress system. In the workshop on April 29, Tom Ossa will explain some of the simple techniques used so that anyone with minimal computer knowledge can build websites using the same system, on their own, and with little or no investment except for time and patience.

Cuppa Pulp/CILK119 is a co-working space, a shared workspace that supports and nurtures a thriving community of people—writers, makers, designers—anyone with a passion for creative work, and a need for a space in which to do it.

The ideal candidates for this free workshop will be aspiring startup business owners that are operating with a minimal budget, as well as hobbyists that wish to create a website to display some of their interests to the general public.

Seating is limited to 20 students per workshop. Classes are available at 9:30 am, 1 pm and 7 pm. Light refreshments will be served. You must RSVP in advance at www.rocklandwebdesign.com/events, or call 845-877-7333 xt. 3.
