– The Nyack Village Theatre will have its fourth anual film festival in August with awards made for best feature, best foreign film, best local documentary, best short, best short feature, best short-short, best score and people’s choice. – New Jersey vocalists Cassidy and the Music, C.C. Colletti, and Eryn Shewell to be showcased at Newton, N.J. Theatre on May 7 at 8 p.m. Tickets on sale at 973-383-3700.

– Penguin Repertory Theatre, Stony Point opens its 2015 season May 15 with “Small World” by Frederick Stroppel, a New York premiere.
