The fearsome duo who broke into a home in the quiet Hudson River waterfront hamlet of Jones Point this April, only to be confronted by an angry homeowner, have been sentenced to five and three and a half years in state prison.

Two North Rockland men, Luis Cedeno, age 22, of 41 Parkway Trailer Park, Pomona, and Christopher Williams, age 24, of 21 Elm St., Garnerville were arrested after the April burglary gone awry left the homeowner a victim of a bite wound from Cedeno.

Stony Point PD reported the two men broke into the Jones Point home on April 28, only to be surprised when the owner and his girlfriend unexpectedly arrived and caught them in the act. The burglars fought with the victims and the male sustained bruises, abrasions and a bite to the shoulder during the altercation and escape, police said. Meanwhile, Williams fled through a bathroom window.

Cedeno was sentenced October 15, 2014, before New York State Supreme Court Justice William A. Kelly to a state prison term of five years and five years post release supervision after pleading guilty to burglary in the second degree. Christopher Williams also pled guilty to burglary in the second degree and was sentenced to three and a half years and three years post release supervision.
