Two North Rocklanders Arrested at Mall on Shoplifting Charges

On August 16, 2014 at approximately 8:50 p.m., the Clarkstown Police Department responded to Sephora located at the Palisades Mall for a report of shoplifting.  Two suspects, Amanda Ferrer, 21, of West Haverstraw and Amanda Nasuti, 26, of Stony Point, were reportedly observed by loss prevention taking merchandise valued at $1073.80. The merchandise consisted of clothing and perfume.

They were charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree (felony) and criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree (felony). They were released on an appearance ticket and have a return court date of September 15, 2014 at 9:30 a.m.
