ISSUING A FALSE WRITTEN STATEMENT
Ereidis Pena, age 21, residing at 3 E. Main St. Stony Point, NY, was arrested on August 7, 2014 for issuing a false written statement. The defendant was arrested after a warrant investigation revealed the defendant had an active Arrest Warrant for listed charge out of the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office. The defendant was arrested, processed, and turned over to the Rockland County Sheriff’s Patrol to answer stated charge.

AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION
Wilson Rodriguez, age 25, residing at 96 Maple Ave., Haverstraw NY, was arrested on August 4, 2014 for aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree. The defendant was arrested after a vehicle and traffic stop revealed the operator was operating a motor vehicle while his NYS license was suspended for failure to pay a fine out of Clarkstown. The defendant was arrested, processed and released on several traffic tickets returnable on August 21, 2014 at 1:30 p.m.

CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA
Christopher Rodriguez, 17, residing at 101 Broadway, Haverstraw, NY, was arrested on August 4, 2014 for unlawful possession of marijuana. The defendant was arrested after investigation revealed the defendant was in possession of 1.3 grams of marijuana. The defendant was arrested, processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable on August 21, 2014.

CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
Brian T. Moore, age 29, residing at 13 Westside Ave., NY, was arrested on August 2, 2014 for criminal possession of controlled substance in the seventh degree and several vehicle and traffic infractions. The defendant was arrested after a vehicle and traffic stop revealed the operator had an active Bench Warrant for listed charge out of the Town of Stony Point. The defendant was arrested, processed, and remanded to the Rockland County Correctional Facility in lieu of $300 bail. He is due back in court on September 9, 2014 at 9 a.m.

CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY
Denis P. Herlihy, age 48 residing at 76 Gurnee Ave. Haverstraw, NY, was arrested on August 1, 2014 for petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree The defendant was arrested after a shoplifting investigation at the Shop Rite of Stony Point revealed the defendant had removed $289.71 worth of merchandise without paying for same. The defendant was arrested, processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable August 21, 2014 at 1:30 p.m.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA
Bryan Daley, age 22, residing at 7 Locust St, Spring Valley, NY, was arrested on July 31, 2014 for unlawful possession of marijuana. The defendant was arrested after investigation revealed the defendant was in possession of two small bags containing marijuana. The defendant was arrested, processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable on September 9, 2014 at 9 a.m. after posting $40 cash bail.

AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION
Tiffany Schelmety, age 32, residing at 6 Oakwood Trail North, Monroe, NY, was arrested on July 30, 2014 for aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree. The defendant was arrested after being turned over to our agency by the Rockland County sheriff’s patrol on an active bench warrant out of our jurisdiction for listed charge. The defendant was arrested, processed and released on several traffic tickets returnable on August 21, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. after posting $100 cash bail.
