Man arrested for allegedly breaking into a Central Nyack ATM machine in January

Salvatore MaioloOn Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 6:45 a.m., the Clarkstown Police Department arrested Salvatore Maiolo, 63, of Long Beach, NY for burglary in the third degree, grand larceny in the third degree , criminal mischief in the second degree and criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree, all felonies.

He was arrested as a result of an investigation conducted by the Clarkstown Police Detective Bureau for the burglary of an ATM machine that occurred on January 5, 2014 at the Key Bank in Central Nyack. The Clarkstown Crime Scene Unit collected forensic evidence from the scene that led to the arrest of Maiolo.

He was arraigned in Clarkstown Criminal Court and remanded to the Rockland County Jail. He appeared in court today, June 13, 2014 at 9:30 a.m.
