Stony Point Police bring in three suspects wanted on active warrants

Stony Point Police announced on April 15 they had arrested three individuals wanted on separate, outstanding arrest warrants for various low-level criminal offenses.

All of the defendants had been charged with their respective crimes, but re-arrested when they did not appear for court. The first of the three, Tailihia Rivera, 31 of Haverstraw was arrested on April 8 after a prior petty larceny arrest.

This week, Stony Point Police arrested Edward Chorba, 37 of Stony Point on April 14 on charges of criminal use of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana. The next day, they brought in Brian Estrella, 23 of West Haverstraw on a second degree aggravated unlicensed operation charge.

Rivera and Chorba were released on appearance tickets. Estrella was also released on an appearance ticket after posting $500 bail.
