TIMOTHY CARDINAL DOLAN CELEBRATES SECOND DAY OF ANNUAL MASSES FOR GRADUATING CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS AT ST. PATRICK’S CATHEDRAL

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE ARCHDIOCESE 

Graduating seniors in uniform, from high schools across the Archdiocese of New York, will fill St. Patrick’s Cathedral for the second day of the annual Senior Mass. Officiated by Timothy Cardinal Dolan, the mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 9; 10 a.m.; St. Patrick’s Cathedral; Fifth Avenue between 50th and 51st Streets, Manhattan.

Cardinal Dolan will deliver the homily at this annual celebration that recognizes the accomplishments and blessings of this year’s graduating classes.

Students at both masses will serve as lectors, gift bearers and altar servers. Choirs from Coleman Catholic High School and Monsignor Scanlan High School will be performing.

The 1st Reading will be given by Jason Sanchez of Archbishop Stepinac High School, Westchester and the General Intercessions by Bridget Devey of Kennedy Catholic, Westchester. The Gift Bearers will be Joy Johnson of Our Lady of Lourdes High School, Dutchess; Megan Dare of St. Vincent Ferrer High School, Manhattan; Patrick Yue of St. Peter’s Boys High School, Staten Island; Salvadore Peniagua of St. Raymond High School for Boys, Bronx; Jasmine Torres of St. Barnabas High School, Bronx. The Altar Servers will be Philip Tulloo of Our Lady of Lourdes High School, Dutchess; Brian Harris of Archbishop Stepinac High School, Westchester; Andrew Curiel of Monsignor Scanlan High School, Bronx; Kaelin Delvalle of Monsignor Scanlan High School, Bronx; Alexandra Cipolla of Dominican Academy High School, Manhattan. The Word of Gratitude will be given by Jozefina Preci of Dominican Academy High School, Manhattan.
