The Keenan Strong Organization-formed to support North Rockland High School teacher Billy Keenan who suffered severe spinal injuries in a surfing accident-will sponsor what they are calling “the largest ever Irish-American benefit concert series” in NY area on May 3 & 4, 2014.

The benefit concerts have the top Irish entertainers and bands at the top of the bill.  Simultaneous concerts will be held in Mineola and Yonkers on Saturday, May 3, culminating in a Rockland County outdoor concert in Tappan, NY on May 4.

All proceeds of this benefit concert series will be given to Keenan, who was rendered a quadriplegic following the September 14, 2013 accident in Sea Girt, NJ

Billy is a 46-year-old husband and father and is described by supporters as a talented Irish entertainer, a US Army veteran and a great friend to countless people. People have come out in droves to help Billy and his family in their time of need.

The #KeenanStrong Organization was created to help relieve some of the hardship for Billy and his family with the goal to simply make their lives easier in any way possible.
