BENJAMIN MILLS, CPA RECEIVES DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD FROM THE BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA

Benjamin Mills, CPA, of Montgomery, New York–a partner at Goldstein Lieberman & Company LLC, and an Eagle Scout–was recognized for his dedication to the Boy Scouts of America Hudson Valley Council’s when he was presented a Distinguished Service Medal the Council’s Volunteer Recognition Dinner held March 23 at the Overlook Lodge at Bear Mountain. In addition to time spent volunteering at the local level with his son, Adam (Pack 32 in Montgomery), Mr. Mills serves as an executive board member for the Boy Scouts of America Hudson Valley Chapter. “I remain a dedicated scout and encourage our next generations to continue in this time-honored tradition of leadership,” he remarks.

Mr. Mills became a partner of Goldstein Lieberman & Company, LLC, in 2007. An active volunteer, he is past-president and previous executive board member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants where he chaired the Young CPA committee. He serves on the board of the Builders Association. The Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan enlisted his expertise on its Professional Advisors Council. Ben also works as a liaison to the accounting departments of local colleges and universities. He is an active member of the New York State Society of CPAs Hudson Valley Chapter, the New Jersey Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.
