YOUNG SEAL FOUND IN STONY POINT

John Corcoran and John Fox, you have some competition as far as being the officials seals of Stony Point.

Folks gathered at the Pennybridge Marina in Stony Point (on the border with Haverstraw) Wednesday were in for a big surprise when this youngster showed up. It is highly uncommon, though not unprecedented, for seals to swim up the Hudson River.

The marina is just down the road from the annual Stony Point seals polar plunge for charity.
