Two pitchers and an infielder have been acquired by the Rockland CanAm Team from the Florence Freedom Team of the Frontier League and all three will be invited to the Boulders pre-season camp. The rights to infielder Stephen Cardullo, who last season with Florence batted .250 and made just four errors in 30 games playing third base, along with the rights to pitcher Sean Gregory, who had a 6-6 record with a 4.35 ERA in 16 appearances, 14 as a starter, and pitcher Brennan Flick, who appeared in 40 games, all in relief and had a 7-2 record with four saves and a 3.51 ERA. The acquisitions were made for future considerations.
On February 14 the Boulders and CEO Focus are sponsoring a business seminar at the Westchester Renaissance Hotel. It is named “The 51 Fatal Business Errors and how to Avoid Them.” It is part of Westfair Commuications’ monthly business seminar program based on bestselling author and acclaimed business coach Jim Muehlhausens’ book of the same name. Boulders spokesmen say the seminar will be fast-paced and interactive and that all attendees are sure to come away with a number of action items that can help take their business to the next level.
The event will be free to all business owners and is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
