Fraudulent Credit Card Arrests

On January 14, 2013 at approximately 10:50 p.m. the Clarkstown Police Department arrested Komi Kalefe, 22, Bronx, NY and Gary Taylor, 26, Mount Vernon, NY. Police allege that Kalefe and Taylor utilized fraudulent Visa credit cards to obtain merchandise and assorted gift cards from Barnes & Noble and Target located at the Palisades Mall.

During the investigation police found the pair to be in possession of four fraudulent credit cards. Kalefe and Taylor were subsequently arrested and charged with identity theft 1st, criminal possession of a forged instrument 2nd (4 counts), grand larceny 3rd and criminal possession of stolen property 3rd, all felonies. They are pending arraignment in Clarkstown Justice Court.
