Bon Secours Charity Health System to Work with Other Hospitals

Good Samaritan Hospital’s parent company, Bon Secours Charity Health System, will announce next week that it is about to enter into an alliance with Saint Francis Hospital and Health Centers in Poughkeepsie and St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital. The new joint operation will be called Hudson Health Partners.

Bon Secours currently operates Good Samaritan in Suffern, Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis and St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick.

The movement is not a merger, but a partial partnership to achieve economies of scale for some helpful aspects, according to hospital officials.
