Copper Wire Theft Alleged Against Stony Point Man

On February 22, 2012 the Clarkstown Police reported a burglary at the Orange & Rockland Utility sub station 195 Rt. 59 West Nyack. Approximately 2,592 linear feet of copper wire valued at approximately $50,000 was taken. Through an extensive investigation on March 28, 2012 Joseph Squillante, age 47, from Stony Point was arrested by the Clarkstown Police Detective Bureau. He was arraigned and remanded to the Rockland County Correctional Facility with no bail. He was charged with Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree (felony).
