– Singers Wanted!!! Join the Hudson Lyric Opera for a special performance of “The Seven Last Words Of Christ”, an oratorio by Theodore Dubois, Saturday March 31st at Trinity United Methodist Church, 47 South Main Street, Stony Point. – The Hudson Valley Teen Theatre is being reactivated with a new evening theatre program for the summer of 2012 to provide a venue for teenage actors to learn and perform. It will run June 26 through August 14 with classes and a production of the Tony Award and Pulitzer prize winning “Rent”. Randy Accardi will be innovative and Creative Director and choreographer and there will be three performances August 10, 11 and 12 at Clarkstown High School South. – Marty Andreas, President of the Antrim Playhouse Players, Wesley Hills makes his directorial debut March 2nd with the thriller “Arsenic And Old Lace.” This is an offbeat comedy featuring two elderly sisters who provide a service for lonely old men by poisoning them. Then there’s a nephew who thinks he is President Theodore Roosevelt and another homicidal nephew who looks like Boris Karloff and more zanies in the  cast. Tickets at antrimplayhouse.com.

– The Bacon Brothers and their Band due in at Lycian Theatre in Sugarloaf April 21 at 8 p.m. That is movie star Kevin Bacon and his brother Michael. Kevin sings and Michael plays the mandolin. Tickets at 845-469-7412.

– On February 25 at 7 p.m. it will be comics Maureen Langan, Barry Weintraub, Rob Ryan, Derek Lamer and Jamie Rosen at The Turning Point Cafe, Piermont.

– The Figuera Piano Quartert will perform at a fundraising concert for the Rockland Conservatory of Music on Sunday February 19 at 45 South Main Street in Pearl River.
