On January 31, 2012, after an investigation, the Clarkstown Police Juvenile Aide Bureau arrested Jacques Menos, age 54, from Pomona, on a charge of rape. The investigation revealed that he allegedly had a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old female. Menos was arraigned before Judge Thorsen who remanded him to the Rockland County Correctional Facility in Lieu of $100,000 bail. The Clarkstown Police Detective Bureau is asking anyone who may have been victimized by Menos, even if it was years in the past, to contact the Clarkstown Police Detective Bureau at 845-639-5835 or the TIPS line at 845-639-6233.
